Staying in touch

Before I started blogging I little realised what an impact the speed and quality of my internet connection would have on my life in the near future.  Now I will not move from the house without checking whether I can go online, preferably using wifi broadband, wherever I go.   Even on holiday my trusty laptop goes with me so that I can check there are no glitches with my blogs, or with any of the paid opportunities I have taken. Most hotels over here have free wi fi in the public areas, and usually in the guest rooms as well, although the speed of the connection can be variable.  This year my first hotel was wireless throughout but the connection would fail about every twenty minutes, needing to be refreshed to get back online.   This can be a nuisance when you have started to write a blog post and I had to remember to save the draft constantly.  However, this is still a great way to carry on running my business wherever I am.
