Shopping is serious
If you are at all comfortable with using a computer, you are bound to have searched for the best price for things you want to buy, for example when you want to buy power drills which you can see and compare before you order. Once you have started to use these searches you will never shop the old way again. But did you realise that most of the shop bots – sites that offer a price metasearch – only feature the merchants who have paid to be promoted on the site? The retailer offering the lowest prices may not appear, and you could be missing out on extra savings.
This is a subject dear to my heart as we have been looking for all the home improvement shopping bits and pieces that we need to remodel our kitchen. If you are not careful, the costs can really mount up so you need to shop around for every item that you are going to buy. My drill was bought for me as a present but I have noew seen that a more powerful version was available to buy online for twenty per cent less than the price of mine. For the difference they could have bought me a nice bunch of flowers as well. Before you click on the buy button, make sure you have checked the prices at shopwiki – you will kick yourself if you miss out …
