I have been trying to automate the display of my Adsense ads on wordpress ever since I set up the new Wordpress themes here over a month ago. I was getting fed up with the inconsitency of placing them manually, despite trying several widgets and plugins. Yesterday I tried Google Code Search, which searches through open source code and is really a tool that has more use for programmers. However I searched for ‘Adsense Wordpress’, not expecting much success. The first result was for a free Wordpress Plugin called ‘Adsense Injection’, which ‘inserts Adsense into your blog without a log of f****ng around.  I got it installed in a few minutes and there is a quick control page which displays under ‘Options’ on your Wordpress dashboard.  The button is called ‘Adsense’ and that is where you include your publisher number and colour codes for your ads.

This is such an improvement on the way I display my Adsense ads on blogs and I am hoping for a further improvement in clickthrough rates.
