Seriously I never thought the day would come when I could contemplate having a boat of my own but we have a number of friends who discovered the joys of sailing a few years ago. And through them we realised that the cost of owning a nice little motor boat, complete with a couple of berths, is actually quite affordable. But do not forget to make sure you have adequate boat insurance as well, or you could lose your whole investment in a flash.
