If you want to see exactly which ads are being displayed on your web pages, Google offers you its AdSense preview tool but this can only be used in Internet Explorer. It is a download tool and when you load up one of your pages your right click button will take you to the Adsense Preview Tool. I find the Google Preview Tool has its limitations, and of course it can only be used in Internet Explorer. As a Firefox user I find that limiting, and also the Google Tool requires your pages to be loaded into the browser for the sole purpose of looking at the ads.

I prefer to go to Digital Inspiration’s blog, where you simply type in the URL of your web pages to see exactly which ads Google will serve up on your web pages. Then you can go to the Adsense Sandbox, where you can check the Google ads fro your site just by typing your keywords. And if you are using Yahoo Publisher Network or the Chitika ads network the tool works for these as well. And the real strength of the Adsense Preview Tool is that it allows you to compare Yahoo to Google, or Google against Chitika, to see which ad network will display higher paying ads on your website.
