How to Attract High Paying AdSense Ads with higher CPC
There is no actual secret to attracting higher paying Adsense advertising to your website or blog, but it does involve some hard work and keyword research. Your web pages must contain original content (not duplicated or private label rights), including those elusive high paying Adsense keywords. The content should also be useful to your readers, not simply written for the benefit of the search engines. If you do this you have a far better chance of increasing your price per click (CPC). This way you start to make more from your Adsense earnings even if your visitor rates are unchanged.
Google advertisers can bid any amount from a minimum of .05 per click right up to a $100 and more per click. It should be pretty obvious that you’re not going to get rich running .05 cent ads on your site, but getting a few $100 ads, or even some $10, $20, or $30 ads can’t be a bad thing, right?
Now the problem is, Google is pretty closed-mouthed about who is paying what for their ads, and there is no real way to determine which words pay the most per AdSense click.
Not to worry - online forums are a great source of the information about which Google is tight lipped. Do not be concerned, this is not a black hat technique.
Anyone who cares to find out how much Adsense advertisers are paying for words and phrases can do so by simply using Vaughan's keyword pricing tool (
http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/top-paying-words.htm). And it couldn’t be easier to use. You simply type in a key word or phrase and the tool returns a list of advertisers using that word and how much they are paying for their Adwords ads.
To check the theory you can try this experiment:
Enter the phrase “SEO Services” without the quotes in at (
http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/top-paying-words.htm) When I entered that phrase on the day I wrote this article, I found a set of keywords for which advertisers are willing to pay up to $100 per click.
So what that means is there is no way that you can possibly afford NOT to have some web pages posted somewhere that are targeted to those higher paying keywords.
All you have to do is use the pricing tool to find the highest-paying key words that are related to your site and then optimise those words to start attracting similar ads. If all goes to plan, you can perhaps double, triple, or even quadruple your AdSense income without any increase in visitors or click-through rate.
