Adsense Blog Content - How to Secure IT
I have, over the years, installed lots of pieces of software and signed up to plenty of services offering to make life easier when running my Adsense Sites and Blogs. Most of them fall into disuse when they fail to live up to expectations. When I see the list of passcards for services that I now cannot remember, I cringe! So when I get round to writing about a service here on the blog it has to be proving its worth. This week my total praise goes to BlogBackUpOnline. I signed up there around three months ago and they have been quietly saving all my blog material ever since, just in case something goes wrong. Here are some of the key features for Adsense site owners:
FREEMIUM accounts are available for free, and they are limited to 5MB of storage. If your average post is 1000 characters, that should be enough to store up to 5000 posts.
Paid accounts get you full support, additional functionality, and increased storage space. Paid accounts are only a few dollars per month and when you need it, it will be well worth the small investment.
With a free account you will be unable to use the automated restore until upgrading to a paid account. You can always export the content of your blog to be used as you please.
Another great feature is the ability to move your blog to another platform using the backed up content from your account. Simply go to the “Restore” feature in BlogBackupOnline and select to which platform you’d like to restore your blog. BlogBackupOnline will then transfer your blog contents to the new platform. The information you transmit to BlogBackupOnline is protected using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with an encryption key length of 128-bits. Once your information is at the company site, it resides on a server that is protected both physically and electronically.
